We are a well-established agricultural company based in Canada, seeking a skilled and dedicated Farm Manager to lead and manage our operations.
What will you do?
While working with in the position, you’ll perform some of the following tasks highlighted below
- Planning and implementing farming activities, such as planting, harvesting, and animal care
- Managing and supervising farm staff
- Maintaining financial records, such as budgets and expense reports
- Ensuring compliance with all local and national regulations
- Managing the procurement of farm inputs, such as seeds, feed, and equipment
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Overseeing the use of pesticides and fertilizers in accordance with regulations
- Communicating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Qualifications and Skills
To work in the position, you’ll be required to meet all or some of the following expectations;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a farm manager
- Strong knowledge of farming techniques and practices
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in UAE
- Must have excellent communication skills in English
- Must have experience in managing a farm
- Must have a degree in agriculture or related field
