We are a busy and growing retail store based in the UK, seeking a skilled and reliable Cashier to join our team.
What will you do?
While working with in the position, you’ll perform some of the following tasks highlighted below
- Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service
- Operating cash registers and handling cash and card payments
- Balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift
- Providing customers with accurate information about products and services
- Assisting customers with returns and exchanges
- Keeping the store clean, tidy and organized
- Following store policies and procedures
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
Qualifications and Skills
To work in the position, you’ll be required to meet all or some of the following expectations;
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a retail environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service
- Must be authorized to work in the UK
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
