Ongoing Vacancies for Fruit Pickers in Canada
We are a well-established fruit farm based in Canada, seeking skilled and dedicated fruit pickers to join our team.
What will you do?
While working with in the position, you’ll perform some of the following tasks highlighted below
- Picking, sorting, and packaging a variety of fruits such as apples, peaches, berries, and grapes
- Maintaining and repairing farm equipment and infrastructure
- Assisting with fruit tree pruning and maintenance
- Keeping accurate records of fruit production
- Following safety procedures at all times
- Adhering to deadlines and working efficiently to ensure fruits are harvested on time
- Keeping the farm clean and organized
- Communicating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Qualifications and Skills
To work in the position, you’ll be required to meet all or some of the following expectations;
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year experience working on a farm
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Must have reliable transportation
- Knowledge of farm equipment and machinery is a plus
