We are a well-established farm based in the UK, seeking skilled and dedicated farm workers to join our team.
What will you do?
While working with in the position, you’ll perform some of the following tasks highlighted below
- Feeding and caring for animals such as cows, pigs, sheep and chickens
- Planting, cultivating and harvesting crops
- Maintaining and repairing farm equipment and infrastructure
- Assisting with animal breeding and birthing
- Keeping accurate records of animal and crop production
- Following safety procedures at all times
- Adhering to deadlines and working efficiently to ensure crops are harvested on time
- Keeping the farm clean and organized
- Participating in the decision making process for the farm operations
- Communicating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Qualifications and Skills
To work in the position, you’ll be required to meet all or some of the following expectations;
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year experience working on a farm
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be authorized to work in the UK
- Must have reliable transportation
- Knowledge of farm equipment and machinery is a plus
